Utilization of authorization in Hexagon AB to repurchase own shares due to incentive programme

The Board of Directors of Hexagon AB (publ) has resolved, pursuant to the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting held on 29 April 2021, to acquire the company’s own shares of Series B on Nasdaq Stockholm. The purpose of the repurchase is to ensure Hexagon’s undertakings in respect of Share Programme 2021/2024 (other than delivery of shares to participants in the incentive programme), including covering social security costs. Hexagon has acquired the remaining 49 per cent of Wuhan ZG Automation Technology Co., Ltd ("ZG Technology"), bringing its ownership of the Wuhan-based 3D scanning specialist to 100 per cent. Hexagon acquired a 51 per cent majority stake in August 2021 and has consolidated ZG within its Manufacturing Intelligence Business Area since that time.
