Ola Rollén’s acquittal now final following the prosecution’s decision not to appeal

The Norwegian economic crime authority (Økokrim) today announced its decision not to appeal the acquittal verdict in the case against Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén. Thus, Rollén’s acquittal from the insider trading allegation, announced 26 June 2019, is forever final – yet another vindication for Rollén who has firmly denied any wrongdoing. Following the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Unitree Technologies, Hexagon expects to record a gain in its third quarter results on the revaluation of its shareholding, which represents 1.198% of the Unitree’s issued share capital. The gain will be calculated on the closing share price on 30 September 2026. Based on today's closing price, the gain would be approximately €500m.
