Hexagon announces proposed dividend of 0.62 EUR per share

Hexagon AB’s Board of Directors proposes a dividend of 0.62 EUR per share for the fiscal year 2019. The proposal will be addressed at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 1 December 2020. During the spring, the Board of Directors withdrew its original dividend proposal of 0.62 EUR per share due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The Board of Directors has since then assessed the impact of the pandemic on the Company’s financial performance and has decided to reinstate the dividend proposal. Following the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Unitree Technologies, Hexagon expects to record a gain in its third quarter results on the revaluation of its shareholding, which represents 1.198% of the Unitree’s issued share capital. The gain will be calculated on the closing share price on 30 September 2026. Based on today's closing price, the gain would be approximately €500m. Any gain will be recorded as a non-cash Item Affecting Comparability (IAC) in Hexagon's accounts. The shares are subject to a 12-month lock-up period from today’s date.
