Press release, September 1, 2023 AAK has been reached by the deeply saddening notice that its Chairman, Georg Brunstam, has passed away. Elected as Chairman in 2018, Georg Brunstam's dedication and vision have been essential in the journey of AAK. In the interim, the Board will appoint a Chairman among its current members until a new Chairman has been elected by the General Meeting. Hexagon has acquired the remaining 49 per cent of Wuhan ZG Automation Technology Co., Ltd ("ZG Technology"), bringing its ownership of the Wuhan-based 3D scanning specialist to 100 per cent. Hexagon acquired a 51 per cent majority stake in August 2021 and has consolidated ZG within its Manufacturing Intelligence Business Area since that time.
